Have we gotten over our Taste of Country Music Festival hangover yet?

I have to be honest, I'm still trying to catch up on some sleep. But it was so worth it.

All weekend long we were having fun up at Hunter Mountain, hanging out with our listeners and listening to some great country music.

We also had the chance to catch up with Michael Ray, who we have some history with. Let me clarify. It's a rocky history. If you remember back to 2015 CJ and I were asked to be a part of a contest with the Grand Old Opry.

It was called Lights, Camera, Acting where we had to dramatically perform a popular country song. CJ and I picked Miranda Lambert's Little Red Wagon. Now I'm not trying to toot our own horn, but we slayed it. Here's a little reminder:

We were in the lead for weeks. WEEKS! And then one of our competitors, a radio station in Chattanooga Tennessee, called in for backup. That backup was Michael Ray.

Michael Ray then promised that if the station won they would get a concert.

And just like that, we were DONE. So of course, when we had the chance to talk to Michael Ray at TOC, we couldn't not bring it up. Check out his apology below:
