A pet rescue is seeking the community's help in identifying two men who dumped unwanted items outside its location in Wappingers Falls, New York.

The folks at Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County (CARE of DC) are hoping that someone might recognize the individuals who are responsible for illegally dumping mattresses in front of their thrift store on April 12th.

Mattress Dump in Wappingers Falls, NY

According to the folks at Care of DC located at 1 Commerce Court, Wappingers Falls, NY, two men driving what appears to be a U-Haul rental truck were caught on video dumping a pair of mattresses in front of their thrift store on Saturday 4/12 at 8:15 p.m. and they are hoping someone might recognize them.

"We need your help. Does anyone recognize this truck? I can tell it's a rental but the image isn't very clear. How about the 2 men? Do you recognize them?"

Care of DC posted pictures (below) of the men and the truck on its Facebook page Monday, hoping to identify them so they would be forced to come back to the store and collect the mattresses.

They explained that not only did the men dump the mattresses right in front of a sign that reads "no donations after hours", they left an item that the non-profit organization doesn't even accept, and the rescue has no way to dispose of them.
