There are thousands upon thousands of country songs. I'm sure that you're aware that some of your favorite songs by Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and many more are actually written by other singer-songwriters.

Luke Bryan has yet another hit on his hands with "Home Alone." It recently took the number one spot last week. The payback song after a break up gone wrong is one of my favorites right now. While Luke and Karen Fairchild (of Little Big Town) slay the vocals, they're both happily married in real life so where did the inspiration come from? Well it came from two completely different people. "Home Alone" was written by Cole Taylor. The 24-year old song writer has written a bunch of songs including "Sippin Fire" for Florida Georgia Line.

Cole wrote and sang the original version of "Home Alone" with another up and coming singer-songwriter, Jaida Dreyer. She's opened for acts such as Brad Paisley and has written seven songs for the television show Nashville. Needless to say these two have the experience. Check out Jaida and Cole performing their first number one song "Home Alone."

When the song reached the top spot, Luke reached out to his song writers with congratulations. They were pretty excited too:
