House of Stefas Opens in Millbrook, New York

For the better part of a year, foodies in Dutchess County patiently waited for the opening of a new Greek restaurant.

House of Stefas was the talk of the town and finally opened their doors in June of 2025. Owner's John and Paul Stefanopolus shared in post on Instagram a few months after opening, why they decided to open House of Stefas in Millbrook.

They write "It’s always been clear to us - we were born and raised here. This is our home" adding:

We chose Millbrook as the home for House of Stefas because it reflects everything we’ve built our lives and work around our love for community, our devotion to hospitality, and our dedication to the culinary world.

The menu at House of Stefas honors traditional Greek cuisine "all while looking into the future."

They serve everything from traditional dips like Tzatziki, Tirokafteri and Tarama to Chicken Souvlaki, Short Rib Gyro, Duck Kokkinisto and more.

Martha Stewart Spotted Dining at New Millbrook Restaurant

With an amazing menu and a buzz worthy ambiance, it's no wonder celebs are making their way toward the new Millbrook restaurant.

Over the weekend House of Stefas welcomed the one and only Martha Stewart!

If there's one celebrity we trust when it comes to food and knowing their stuff, it's Martha. Right?!

Famous Homemaker Seems to Enjoy Visiting the Hudson Valley

This isn't the first time Martha has been spotted out and about in the Hudson Valley.

In June of this year, the homemaker was seen enjoying the Millbrook Farmers Market. While there, she taste tested the juices from Chakra Bowls. According to the local wellness company Martha said "“That is very good.”

We don't doubt it either.

Stewart is also known to frequent Stissing House in Pine Plains, which is one of the top restaurants in the US in 2025.

From gourmet to a classic hot dog. Martha was seen spotted right outside of the Hudson Valley enjoying a hot dog from Frankies Family Restaurant back in 2023.
