One of the biggest names in home decor, television and lifestyle advice was spotted sampling local products at a popular farmers market over the weekend.

America's Favorite Homemaker and Her Ties to the Hudson Valley

When you think of the title "America's Favorite Homemaker" one name comes to mind: Martha Stewart.

You know her for her expertise when it comes to styling a home, whipping up a delicious dish in the kitchen, and of course her incredible friendship with rapper Snoop Dogg.

Martha (like Prince, she can go by just 1 name) was born in raised in Jersey City, New Jersey but later on in life found herself relocating the lower Hudson Valley-Westchester region.

If you take a quick gander at her Instagram account you'll see a ton of content at her New York farm and many Hudson Valley locals have had their own encounters with the homemaker.

Over the weekend the celeb was spotted out and about in Dutchess County.

On Instagram Chakra Bowls writes:

MARTHA. FREAKING. STEWART.

Just casually stopped by the Millbrook Farmers Market and came to our stand She tried our juice and said “That is very good.” (I’m screaming inside.)

We chatted for a minute and I’m still recovering. BRB, putting this on my resume.

Will we see a Chakra Bowls + Martha Stewart collab in the future? Here's to hoping!

Have You Tried Chakra Bowls Yet?

If you've never tried Chakra Bowls, it's a locally owned and operated smoothie and juice bar with locations in Poughkeepsie (in Eastdale Village) and in Gardiner. Owner Lauren Hoheusle created Chakra Bowls back in 2017 and began a "journey based on a love for holistic health, and fueling her own self with healthy, nourishing foods" according to her website. She soon realized that there was a void of healthy food options in the area and hit the ground running, delivering smoothie bowls to friends and family.

By 2023 Lauren opened up her first brick-and-mortar location in Poughkeepsie and has since grown her business across the river in Ulster County out of a really cool airstream in Gardiner.

Chakra Bowls, now Martha Stewart approved, is opened in Poughkeepsie daily from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm (except on Sundays when their hours are 9 am to 3 pm).

Their Gardiner location is opened Friday through Monday 9 am until 4 pm.
