To celebrate the ongoing chart success of her song "The Middle," Maren Morris grabbed her guitar on Wednesday (May 2) and gave her fans the performance they had been craving.

She ditched the electronic effects and high tech back beat for a sweet version of the irresistible song, and and yes, her fans loved it. "Obsessed," one fan wrote alongside the acoustic version, which sends Morris back to her roots. "You are everything," the fan adds.

And she really is.

Earlier this year, Morris became the first country artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Mix/Show Airplay chart. From there, the country star and her "The Middle" collaborators Zedd and Grey have found themselves on top of the Adult Pop Songs, Mainstream Top 40, Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs Billboard charts.

The song will likely be a favorite on tour, too. Morris will join Niall Horan on the Flicker World Tour 2018, with summer dates in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the USA.

Her current single country single is "Rich," which she says has been a fan favorite for quite awhile. "I remember from the first headline tour I did over a year ago, everyone in the crowd was singing the chorus so loud that I was completely stunned," Morris says. "My fans grabbed ahold and never let go."
