Police: Hudson Valley Housekeeper Stole From Clients
A Hudson Valley housekeeper is accused of stealing jewelry from several homes. On Saturday, New York State Police Monroe Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested 30-year-old Maria Caudillo of Central Valley for multiple counts of grand larceny, felonies.
While working as a housekeeper in Kiryas Joel Caudillo stole jewelry from several homes, police say.
Caudillo was arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 secured bond.
State Police in Monroe identified various pieces of stolen jewelry and are asking any residents of Kiryas Joel who hired Maria Caudillo to contact the State Police at (845)782-8497.
