March is National Craft Month

I am an avid crafter, creator, sewer, quilter, knitter, paper art enthusiast, painter, etc. I have 8 cabinets in my sewing/creating space stuffed full of glue sticks, rubber stamps, inks, paints, papers, thread, needles, yarn, tons of ephemera, and lots more. Lots, lots more, just ask my husband.

While I craft year round, and even more for the holidays, March is a banner month for me. You see, March is National Crafting month and many retailers,websites, bloggers, and Facebook groups have some pretty cool activities scheduled throughout the month. Some are free, others have a fee, but there is truly something for everyone.

This year, the Craft and Hobby Association is encouraging all of us to take a photo of ourselves creating, using #cre8time, and post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pintrest, or any other social media sites. It just might get you $500.
