If you're in the mood for some pancakes why not top it off with some Hudson Valley maple syrup? It's the perfect time of year.

It's maple sugaring season in the Hudson Valley and while the trees are still bare you can probably see the lines and buckets set up on the trees around your town.

There are a ton of maple sugaring and pancake events coming up around the Hudson Valley. If you're interested here are some suggestions:

The 11th Annual Maple Fest at the  Randolph School in Wappingers this Saturday, March 14th from 11 am-3 pm. Adults and children alike will be able to enjoy a pancake breakfast at 11 am as well as hikes to the creek and watching the maple sugaring process.

The Hudson Highland Nature Museum in Cornwall hosts Maple Sugaring tours every Saturday from 11 am until 3 pm. Tours sell out fast so make sure to buy your tickets online at HHNM.ORG.

Corey's Sugar Shack in Highland hosts free maple sugaring tours during NYS Maple Sugaring weekend which runs on March 21st and 22nd as well as the 28th and 29th. More details can be found on their website.
