Luke Bryan's son Bo is learning all of the tricks of the trade from his dad lately. Sure, there’s touring and performing in front of thousands of fans, but real apprenticeship takes place in the great outdoors.

In a recent edition of LBTV, Bryan takes his son out to the lake to fish, and Bo shows his dad's fans how it's done, pulling in a couple of fish all on his own (though there is debate over exactly how big his catch is).

The duo also spend some time shooting before heading out to a festival, but the real highlight is Bo’s first trip to Cabela's, an outdoor outfitter Bryan partners with. Somehow Bo had never been inside one, and a crew member asked what he would do when he first walked in. His adorable response?

“Pass out,” he says with a smirk.

Country Artists in Their Most Important Role: Dad

Bryan wouldn’t allow this, joking that he’d miss the whole trip if they had to call an ambulance and take him away. To be fair, even Brett Eldredge was excited for the field trip.

“We’re going on an excursion to Cabela’s — pretty much Heaven on Earth,” he says, nonchalant. “I could spend 100 hours in there.”

Sure enough, Bo was amped to be in the land of all things fishing and hunting. He even picked out some lures that he swears were the reason he caught a “six-pounder.” Bryan took some photos with fans as they perused the aisles, and the family filled up their cart with fishing gear. The smile on Bo’s face at the end of the video says it all.

When they’re not fishing or touring, Bryan and Bo have been busy taking care of the family’s new puppy, Choc, who already looks right at home on a boat. Bryan’s Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour, which will pick back up after the July 4 holiday in Bethel, N.Y.
