Autism Awareness month is the whole month of April.

It's time for the second annual “Leap for Autism,” hosted by Greystone Programs, this will mark the second time that people will be jump out of a plane to raise awareness for Autism.

According to the Daily Freeman the event will take place on April 22nd at 10 a.m. at Skydive the Ranch located at 55 Sand Hill Rd in Gardiner.

I have never skydived before but this looks like a great reason to do it. If you like me and have never done it you can sign up to skydive tandem style which means you will be harnessed to a professional, licensed skydiver.

If jumping isn't something you want to do, you can still be a part of this great event by being a spectator and part of the “ground crew."

There will be food, fun and music all day long and all the money raised through the April 22 event will support Greystone Programs’ expressive arts programs and other unfunded services.
