Lagrange Tree Lighting will be A Drive Thru Event
We are still trying to figure out how to keep all our annual traditions in place this year. As 2020 heads out and the Holiday season approaches it is important we keep in mind social distancing and crowd safety but at the same time we don't want to see all of our holiday celebrations be canceled.
I am happy to inform you that Candy Cane Lane in LaGrange is still happening, it has become a drive thru event. The Town of Lagrange is not going to let 2020 stop them from lighting the town tree for all to enjoy. On Monday, November 30th they will light the tree and you are invited to come by to see the result.
The drive thru event will be free to the public and held from 5:30 PM to 8 PM on Monday November 30th at the Town Hall located at 120 Stringham Road in LaGrangeville. The event is hosted by the Town of LaGrange Parks and Recreation Department. COVID restrictions have require the event to make some special plans but the good news is it hasn't kept them from light the tree in LaGrange.
The event is free and everyone 1 to 100 along with your dog if you want to bring him or her. Everyone is invite to come out to celebrate. Even though the event is outdoors and you will be required to stay in your car you will still need a ticket. You can get those by clicking here. Candy Cane Lane will be set up behind the Town Hall. They will also be collecting toys for toys for tots so feel free to bring a toy to donate.
