Joan Rivers and More Left Out of the “In Memoriam” Segment at Oscars

MERYL STREEP announced last night's "In Memoriam" segment on the Oscars. She led with the words, "A single person is missing for you and the whole world is empty."

One of the celebrities who WASN'T mentioned during the segment was JOAN RIVERS. And a lot of people consider that a big snub since Joan was a red carpet fixture at the major award shows for more than 20 years. Some people are also bothered that ELAINE STRITCH, who played Alec Baldwin's mother on "30 Rock", wasn't mentioned and Taylor Negron from Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Easy Money.
