Another Hudson Valley store has decided to shut its doors. JCPenney is set to close its Hudson Valley Mall location around April 7 of this year.

According to the Daily Freeman, the store has been open for 32 years and employs 74 people. The company did not provide a specific reason for the closing, but did say, "We continually evaluate our store portfolio to determine whether there’s a need to close or relocate under performing stores."

There are other JCPenney stores around the Hudson Valley at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, the Galleria at Crystal Run, near Middletown, and Crossgates Mall, just outside of Albany. The company said it has no plans to close any of its other stores in the region.
