Sullivan County Country Club Celebrates 100 Years

2025 is a special year for the Sullivan County Golf and Country Club.

This year they celebrate 100-years in service. The celebration is slated for August 27th and 28th 2025 with a full list of events and fun.

According to the Sullivan County Golf Club website, the ticketed event will have live music by Somerville, a Long Drive competition sponsored by Garage Beer, a lunch and conversation with NYT Bestselling Author Tom Coyne and award-winning actor Bill Murray.

As the events got underway on August 27th, whispers started to circulate that a A-lister who has been in the new a lot over the month (especially this week) was part of the celebration.

Jason Kelce Becomes Part Owner of Sullivan County Country Club

We started seeing post online about Jason Kelce spotted in Sullivan County, which had us asking ourselves "What in the world is Taylor Swift's future brother-in-law doing in Sullivan County?!"

After a quick deep dive, we learned that back in May of 2025 Kelce became a part of Sullivan County Golf Club's ownership group. He joins the likes of Bill Murray and Mike Madden (the owner of Muhammad Ali’s training camp).

Now it all makes sense.

At the time Kelce said in a statement:

"I've been dating golf for a long time, and the relationship was starting to get more serious. Now we're making a long term commitment."

Now that Kelce's brother, Travis Kelce, popped the big question to Taylor Swift maybe Otto's and the Sullivan County Golf Club could be in the running for the Kelce-Swift nuptials?

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Celebs Love Golfing in the Hudson Valley

This isn't the first time that an A-lister has hit the green in the Hudson Valley. Most recently Luke Bryan made a stop and one of the more popular driving ranges in the area.

When Luke had a tour stop at Bethel Woods, the country singer cut out some time to visit The Monster at Resorts World Catskills.

In 2023, another country singer, Jason Aldean hit the links at Roscoe Mountain Club and the course at Villa Roma.
