Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic This Month in Dutchess County NY

Which animals can get vaccinated at the Free Rabies Clinic?

The animals that can receive their vaccinations that day are limited to cats, dogs and domestic ferrets 3 months of age or older. Your dog will need to be on a leash and your cats and ferrets will need to be in a carrier (for their safety).

When is the rabies clinic and do you need to make an appointment?

The clinic will be taking place on Sunday October 22, 2023 at the Dutchess County SPCA located at 636 Violet Ave (9G and St Andrews RD) in Hyde Park NY 12538, from 8 AM to Noon. Yes you will need to register before hand, and can do that by calling the SPCA at 845-452-7722 ext 425.

Can you live anywhere in New York State and come to this rabies clinic?

Yes, you can. If you live in Dutchess County NY the fees will be waived. If you live outside the county then you will be charged a small $10 fee. The Vaccinations will be good for three years, if you have already proof of previous immunizations. If you don't have the proof or documentation then the vaccines will be good for one year.
