Hudson Valley Casting is a locally owned casting company. This is run by the Casting Director and Owner, Heidi Eklund of Heidi Eklund Casting. Eklund knew that she needed to connect students with professional actors within the Hudson Valley community

The Hudson Valley Film Commission is a nonprofit organization that helps productions find local cast and crew members, locations and more. Laurent Rejto is the founder and director of the Hudson Valley Film Commission.

There has been a local casting call related to Adams Fairacre Farms. Look-alikes were needed to play the roles of Mary and Ralph Adams in the new commercial for the new location of Adams in Wallkill, NY.

With filming that takes place within the Hudson Valley, there may be times that certain buildings, roads and trails may be temporarily closed to make this possible.

Kingston, NY Mayor Warns Residents Of Parking Restrictions

The City of Kingston, NY posted a release about information from the Mayor Kingston, Steven T. Noble.

An upcoming and local filming will take place in the City of Kingston, NY. The filming will be across the city from March 20, 2023, until March 22, 2023.

Parking Restrictions Will Take Place In March of 2023 In Kingston, NY

According to the City of Kingston,

"From 11:59pm on Sunday, March 19 to 12:00pm on Wednesday, March 22, there will be no parking on the YMCA side of Pine Grove Ave between Broadway and Susan Street. During this time, there will be no parking on the cemetery side of Pine Grove Ave between Cemetery Lane and Mary’s Ave. There will be no parking in the median of Pine Grove Ave between Broadway and the YMCA entrance."

On Monday, March 20, 2023, there will be no parking available on either side of Cornell Street, from Broadway to Smith Avenue from 5:00 am until 7:00 pm.

There will also be no parking on Ten Broeck Avenue from Cornell Street to Grand Street. This also includes no parking on Grand Street from Ten Broeck Avenue to Smith Avenue.

Intermittent traffic control in the localized area will be from 12:00 pm, noon and 6:00 pm.

Some Roads In Kingston, NY Will Be Temporarily Closed

According to the City of Kingston, 

"From 5:00am on Monday, March 20 through Wednesday, March 22 at 12:00pm, parts of the Cornell Street municipal parking lot will be closed. From 5:00am Monday, March 20 to 3:00am Tuesday, March 21, there will be no parking on the south side of Thomas Street."

"From 6:00pm on Monday, March 20 to 3:00am on Tuesday, March 21, there will be a rolling roadblock on Route 9-W from the Delaware Ave exit through North Broadway in Port Ewen."

"From 6:00am Tuesday, March 21 through 4:00am Wednesday, March 22, there will be no parking on either side of Broadway between Liberty St./Elmendorf St. and St. James St. There will be intermittent traffic control in these areas between 12pm on March 21 and 4:00am on March 22, 2023."

Plan to park else where or take alternative routes during these dates.
