I’ve been finding fun things to do indoors this winter within the Hudson Valley! Soon enough, it’ll be spring and we will be excited to be outside in nature.

Until then, we can experience all that our area has to offer.

The Castle Fun Center is an amusement park, entertainment space in Chester, NY.  They have a wide variety of rides and attractions such as bowling, laser tag, roller skating, time in the arcade and more.

Outside, we can have fun playing mini golf, enjoy their go karts and zip lining as well. They have something for the entire family and also offer exclusive events for adults only. This month, we can experience their after dark event.

This is something that I want to experience! I’ve been to The Castle Fun Center's entertainment space before but their after dark event for adults only sounds like more fun.

The Castle Fun Center’s event is for adults 21+ with ticket prices at $54.99 in advance and $64.99 the day of.

On site, there will be a live DJ along with a buffet and cash bar! During The Castle Fun Center’s adults only event, we can have fun playing laser tag, roller skating, roll around in their inflata park, go bowling and more!

This event will take place on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 9pm until 12am. Be sure to check out their website for more info.

While in the Chester, NY area to check out this event at The Castle Fun Center, there are plenty of other things to enjoy as well. We can visit the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in Sugar Loaf, LEGOLAND NEW YORK in Goshen, along with local breweries and eateries to enjoy as well.
