Upsetting Shakeup At Levon Helm Studios In Woodstock Continues

On Monday July 13th news broke regarding a management shakeup at Levon Helm Studios (LHS) in Woodstock, New York. It appears that Amy Helm, daughter of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician Levon Helm, has been forced out of the venue she had been operating for more than a decade.

In May of 2026 Brian Parillo was named President of Levon Helm Studios, Inc. In reaction to Amy Helm's social media posts, regarding her ousting, Parillo shared his side of the story on the Levon Helm Studios Facebook page. Here is a portion of he has to say.

Tim O'Brien, Sam Grisman, and Victor Furtado were scheduled to play LHS on August 13th and 14th. In what appears to be a show of support for Amy Helm, those shows are cancelled. The trio is now scheduled to perform at Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock on August 13th. Tickets on sale HERE.
