720,000+ Lights & 2,160 Items To Shine in LaGrangeville

The ticker on the official ERDAJT website is counting down the seconds until the 2023 display at 8 Patrick Drive in LaGrangeville NY turns on. The Gay family will flip the switch on 720,000 lights, all set to music, this Friday, November 24th, for the 2023 season.

From November 24th through December 28th, the lights will shine from 4:45pm until 9:30pm Sunday through Thursday, and Friday and Saturdays, as well as 12/24 through 12/28, from 4:45pm until 10:30pm. The Union Vale Fire Department is usually on scene collecting donations for a community fund, and other local charities also rotate during the season as well.

Visitors are encouraged to tune their car radios to 95.3FM to get the full experience of the light display matching up to the more than 250 songs in their catalog.

By the numbers, the 2023 display will rotate through 255 songs, showcase 1,700 strobes, and include two additional shooting stars that were added this year to the driveway exit.

There are now 2,160 items outside controlled by a computer. The computer wirelessly commands 108 light controllers driving 718,000 lights and is connected to an FM transmitter.
