Are we alone?

We have talked quite a bit over the last few weeks about Christmas trees. Real or fake, family heirloom ornaments, we even showed you step by step how to make your very own Christmas tree ornaments.

As the clock ticks closer and closer to most peoples favorite holiday, Christmas, I went out last night to grab up my tree and was super surprised by a comment that was made by a lady that was also at the parking lot lot tree place.

If you missed my story, I was at the tree place on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie and after I looked around a bit, I found the tree I wanted. I told the guy selling the trees and he grabbed it, put it thru the string machine and put on top of my SUV. I wound up paying like $60 for the tree, but before I left I thought about buying a new stand, because I wasn't sure if the one I have from last year would be big enough to hold the tree.

The tree place had stands out that they were selling, so I started to look at them and as I did, a lady was standing next to me looking at the sign with the prices on it, trying to be in the holiday spirit, I said "Merry Christmas" to her and something like "its always fun getting a real tree right?".

She looked at me and said, "Nothing like waiting til the last minute to get a tree". Really? Is this the last minute? Talk about NOT being in the holiday spirit. As my grandma would always say, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all!"
