A popular bakery in Upstate New York will be selling cookies in the Hudson Valley for one day only and people are wondering how to get them. Here's how to be ahead of the hype.

Most of us have a sweet tooth. Thankfully, there's no shortage of places around here to satisfy that craving. It looks like we might get one more this weekend but for one day only.

For the past few months, the Hudson Valley has been all about the doughnuts. Several new bakeries have opened up and specializing in doughnuts.

Does the Capital Region have the best cookies? If so, how will we ever know unless we drive all the way up there to taste them? I guess they could just bring them to us, right? That'd be a lot easier.

Upstate Cookie Shack

A bakery from the Albany area announced that they will be fulfilling pre-orders by meeting customers at a few stops in our region. Upstate Cookie Shacks' announcement has gotten a lot of attention on social media as people love their massive 7-ounce specialty cookies.

If you order cookies from them between now and Saturday the Upstate Cookie Shack will meet at drop-off locations on Sunday, 7/11.

According to the owner, they will be in Hudson, Rhinebeck, New Paltz, Kingston, Saugerties and two locations in Poughkeepsie. The time and exact locations for pick up can be found on their website.
