In Touch: This Week Featuring Rebuilding Together Dutchess County

Each week on 'In Touch', our locally produced public affairs program, I have the pleasure of talking with individuals and organizations from all over the Hudson Valley. We focus on non-profit organizations and volunteers who are working hard to help make all of our communities better places to live, work, and raise our families.

This week Christina Boryk, the Executive Director for Rebuilding Together Dutchess County, stopped by our studios to get us caught up with all that has been going on with the organization, plus talk about April as National Rebuilding Together month and the upcoming National Rebuilding Day on Saturday, April 30.

She also spoke about their Toolbox heroes, local tradespeople who help them with their mission of a safe and healthy house for everyone, Handyman program, their current fundraising campaign going on in the month of April, and how a NY Grant program 'Access to Home' is enabling them to help even more families here in the Hudson Valley.
