Hurricane Maria Relief Donations Needed
The main drop off point for items to help the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico is in Middletown, New York.
Hurricane Maria ripped through Puerto Rico and has left residents without some essential items like fresh water, power and a very limited food supply and they need our help to live and get through this horrible disaster.
If you would like to help in the relief effort you can drop off your donation in Orange County at the American Legion Post 151 which is located at 185 Wawayanda Ave. in Middletown, now through October 2nd.
Some of the items that are in need include the following:
Non perishable food items/Canned goods like vegetables, beans, rice, baby formula and water.
First aid supplies including band aids, insect repellent, hand sanitizer and gauze.
Household items like pillows, blankets and towels.
Personal hygiene items like shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
Summer clothing like summer shoes and new clothing.
Let's do what we can to help the people of Puerto Rico get through this!!!
If you can, please stop and make a donation before Monday as everything that is collected will be shipped out on Monday.
