A destination for beer lovers opens this Thursday right here in the Hudson Valley.

It's a great time to be a beer lover, especially if you live in the Hudson Valley. Our area already has some incredible breweries and taprooms, but starting this week you can add another spot to your Hudson Valley beer tour.

Industrial Arts announced that their new location in Beacon will open on Thursday at 3pm. The new multi-level brewery and taproom have been under construction for most of the summer. The sprawling brewery takes up most of a new 150,000 square foot facility overlooking Mount Beacon at 511 Fishkill Ave

The first phase of the project, including a tasting room with lots of outdoor seating and panoramic mountain views, has been completed and is now ready to open to the public. Although production hasn't begun at the new brewery, all of Industrial Arts' beers brewed at their Garnerville brewery will be on tap.

In addition to a wide selection of beers on tap, the brewery will also have beer to go in cans, including two new releases. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food to enjoy out on the deck. In the future, Industrial Arts plans to partner with local food trucks to offer visitors on-site dining options.

While the taproom begins to serve customers, construction on the rest of the facility will continue. The brewing production facility will include a large events center, some smaller private party spaces, a distribution center, and a state-of-the-art production brewery that will be able to pump out more than 50,000 barrels a year.

Opening weekend hours will be Thursday and Friday from 3-10pm, Saturday from 12-10pm and Sunday 12-7pm. The brewery is family-friendly, with kids welcome inside the taproom. Dogs are allowed on the outside deck only.
