How's your Corn Hole game? Is Ping Pong more to your liking, or would you rather shoot some baskets? Maybe board games are more your speed. If you pride yourself on your ability to compete and win and you are 55 or older, get ready to be a contender.

The Sullivan County Senior Games are coming back to Monticello in September and they will give area seniors a chance to participate not only in the activities mentioned above, but football toss, mile-walks, bocce ball, shuffleboard, horseshoes and more. There are men's and women's divisions in each competition.

The games will begin on Monday, September 11, with several events held throughout the day and will continue throughout the remainder of the week. A lunch to celebrate everyone's accomplishments will close the games on September 14 with the top three competitors in each game recognized.

Space is limited however, so gather your friends and  sign-up today, major bragging rights could be on the line. For more information, call the Sullivan County Office of the Aging at 845-807-0241.
