If you enjoy eating out and live in or near the Hudson Valley you are lucky enough to be surrounded by hundreds of options when planning to go out for dinner.

We have award-winning restaurants in just about every county in the Hudson Valley. For example in Dutchess County we not only have the cooking capital of the world in the Culinary Institute of America on Route 9 in Hyde Park, NY they also have well-known places like Il Figlio Enoteca on Main Street in Fishkill, NY, and Rossi Rosticceria in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Orange County has numerous restaurants that get plenty of love including places like Hudson Tacos, and the Handsome Devil BBQ in Newburgh. Ulster County has fantastic food options at places like Frank Guido's Little Italy and Savona's in Kingston, NY.

The Hudson Valley has Great Food...But

All of the restaurants we've mentioned so far receive a ton of well-deserved attention for their food but there are numerous restaurants scattered across the Hudson Valley that don't get enough attention for how good their food is. After realizing this we thought it would be interesting to try and find some of these restaurants so that we could give them some "love" and give foodies like us a chance to try out some of the restaurants we've never been to before.
