So as we always say there is a National day for everything. I love glancing at the list for inspiration and to actually see if I can find a day I want to celebrate. This past week I discovered a day that would be fun for me and every little girl who ever dreamt of being Cinderella. It turns out next Thursday (November 18th) is National Princess Day according to the National Days Calendar.

That got me thinking about a place you could go as an adult in the Hudson Valley that would make you feel like a Princess. Turns out I could think of a few. See if you agree with my list. Remember the places should be able to pamper you and treat you like the royalty you are on National Princess Day. They should also be exciting and fun.

Here are the four I found

Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz is a perfect place to be a Princess for the day. The spa on site will pamper you all day but if you prefer the outdoors you can always hike to the tower. Enjoying a meal in the main dining room makes you feel like a king with its view of the Catskills.

Emerson Resort and Spa in Mt.Tremper is another perfect place to be pampered like a Princess. Set along the Esopus Creek it offers shops and fine dining plus luxurious accommodation for overnight guests.

Cedar Lakes Estate - I actually heard of this place for the first time this week. It definitely looks like a place that a rustic Princess might enjoy for National Princess day or even a cozy winter weekend. You get a real feel for the place and its magic by watching one of the many wedding videos shot on the grounds. Every girl is a Princess on her Wedding Day.

Resorts World Catskills - They have amazing accommodations, a luxurious spa, plenty of fine dining, and yes gambling where on National Princess Day you could possible win a King's ransom.

Let me know where you plan to spend National Princess day in the Hudson Valley by using the text studio feature on the Wolf App.

Looking for something more permanent, this house in Kingston is fit for a Princess and there is room for some friends.

Castle in the Catskills

It took twenty years to build and was worth every minute. A bluestone castle nestled into the Catskills just outside of Kingston could be yours. Yes, you need a bit of money but I know if you had the 12,000,000 you would want to live here. A girl can dream, can't she?
