If you are having a hard time saying goodbye to summer and are looking for something that is a delicious solutions to the weather getting colder I have a solution. I may have found the perfect event to end your eating outside season. Before your put outdoor activities on a shelf for the rest of 2020 make plan to head to one more pig roast.

This Saturday Twin Star Orchards in New Paltz is holding their end of season Pig Roast. Come out enjoy slow roasted pork, live music and more. Twin Star Orchard's is famous for their Ugly Apples which they claim rival any store bought apple and are grown by farmers not engineers.

All season long Twin Star holds food events at their location on North Ohioville Road in New Paltz. Drive by anytime and you will see the barn doors open and people enjoying all the Twin Star has to offer. I regularly drive by the orchard on my way home and it always looks so inviting.

This Saturday November 7th you are invited to enjoy the pig roast, live music and refreshing cider. They are offering the pork sandwich or platter style with homemade coleslaw and Hawaiian sweet buns. Ticket don't have to be purchased in advance but they do want you to know that tickets are limited so you may want to reserve your before Saturday because they do sell out.

Twin Star is also know for their wood-fire pizza and burgers which they will be serving on Saturday along with Brooklyn Cider House hard ciders, local craft beers and wine. Admission is free and food tickets start at $14. All food and beverages are sold a la carte. Seating is always first come first serve.

Face masks are required and social distancing will be strictly enforced.
