Five Food Artisans Announced as Gingerbread Competition Winners
As the holidays and 2021 come to a close, we start to wrap up some of the things that were happening over the last few weeks. One such event that has put another year in the books is the Annual Mohonk Mountain House Gingerbread competition.
Like last year, the Gingerbread contest had to be virtual. You may not have been able to see the gingerbread artisan creations up close, but the pictures were great and now that the voting online is over, the winners can be announced.
All the entries this year were amazing and definitely beyond anything I could imagine creating. Each year, the competition gets tougher than the year before. As a matter of fact, one of this year's contestants and category winners, Matt Maley actually appeared on the food network in their gingerbread competition. Matt won at Mohonk this year for the piece picture a the top of this article entitled Hi Neighbor!
