I am not an avid book reader but I do like having one I am working on at all times. You never know when you will get that lazy afternoon to grab a book. Fortunately, if you are on the hunt for a great book new or used there are plenty of places to check out the latest releases or some second-hand classics.

I have attached a brief list below that includes some places I like to frequent when I am on a book hunt. If you need ideas for books to read you can always consult the New York Times 2025 Best Seller List to see what others are reading.

I find the best way to grab books for a cozy day read or even the beach is to go to the bookstore and browse for yourself. Local bookstores are also great places to find out about book clubs if you want to go that route.

Also if you haven't been to a bookstore in a while chances are you are in for a treat. Some of them have turned into bookstores with coffee, baked goods and even bars. Rough Draft Bar & Books on John Street in Kingston is a perfect example of a bookstore meets bar.
