Hudson Valley BBQ Closed

The list of restaurants closing in the Hudson Valley has a new edition.

The Shack, located on Route 55, was a Memphis style barbecue restaurant that took the place of the Crooked Rooster a few months back according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Over the last few years the Hudson Valley has seen a bunch of BBQ restaurants open up including The Shack, Smokin' Boots BBQ in Hopewell Junction and Dutchess BBQ in LaGrange.

Dutchess BBQ which in located in the former Le Express French restaurant on Route 376 in LaGrange is the only restaurant that remains open in Dutchess County.

If you are looking for a BBQ place to try out this weekend in the Hudson Valley, we do have a bunch of great options including Billy Bob's BBQ in Poughkeepsie, Billy Joe's Ribworks in Newburgh, Ole Savannah in Kingston, Outpost BBQ in Kerhonkson, and Double S Smokehouse in Warwick, just to name a few.
