Today is National Margarita Day so I figured I'd share a way to make your own.  Some would say this is the "Perfect Margarita" recipe.

According to Delish.com you should use 2 parts Tequila, 1 part Triple Sec and 1.5 parts Lime Juice.

Using salt on the rim is a preference as is in some places, which I personally prefer, sugar on the rim.  You can also try a little chili powder for some added kick.  Or, if you are like me, a LOT of kick.  I'm not really into anything spice, hot, etc.

The brand of Tequila you use will depend on your budget and preference but keep in mind, you will probably be drinking them at home so you won't have to worry about driving so, make them as strong as you want.  I've noticed that the cheaper the tequila the quicker the drunk and worse the hangover so keep that in mind too.

Delish.com offers some variations to traditional Margarita's and gives you step by step video recipe's.
