Date Night with Horseback Riding and Cheese in New York

This is the time of year when people are flocking to farms throughout the Hudson Valley to pick apples and pumpkins. Wineries, breweries, and places to enjoy cider are packed each weekend with people soaking up Fall.

There are so many places to go. So many festivals and events. It is hard to fit them all in before the snow flies. I say with creative planning you can squeeze in a lot and one thing I am going to suggest is horseback riding.

Entertaining Hudson Valley Horse Back Riding in the Fall

Two riding facilities in our area are offering some riding fun that is open to all skill levels. If you were hoping to get back in the saddle I may have found your solution. Both Ridge Runners Ranch in New Paltz and Juckas Riding Stables in Pine Bush have opportunities for you to enjoy a Fall ride with an extra twist.

Juckas Riding Stable at 1204 Route 302 in Pine Bush is still booking Date Nights. It is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 5 PM with a 45-minute trail ride and an hour around the firepit with a complimentary beverage and charcuterie board. Follow this link to book your date.

Ridge Runners Ranch which offers trail riding, lessons, and barrel racing is wrangling something up for October. Join them for a Halloween moonlit trail ride from October 17th through October 20th.
