If you are married or planning to get married, it can be a little scary.

Not the planning part, the actual staying together part. You have proably heard the statitics. Over half of married couples get divorced within 10 years.

Defintitly a scary statitic, but according to Science Daily, a new study out of the University of Georgia says the biggest thing you can do to improve your marriage and keep it strong and rewarding is to simply remember to always say "thank you" for the stuff your spouse does. Apparently this study proves it's JUST that simple.

One of the people behind the study, Allen Barton said "It goes to show the power of 'thank you, even if a couple is experiencing distress and difficulty in other areas, gratitude in the relationship can help promote positive marital outcomes."

Researchers also said "We found that feeling appreciated and believing that your spouse values you directly influences how you feel about your marriage, how committed you are to it, and your belief that it will last."

Not bad advice and THANK YOU!
