When I was growing up, my parents decorated for Halloween and we went trick-or-treating, but they didn't go crazy with the decorations. No one did, but that has all changed. According to the National Retail Federation, who have been tracking Halloween spending since 2003, they expect this year to be the biggest yet. Over 170 million Americans will celebrate and decorate to the tune of almost $8.4 billion.

Since everyone has been buying up everything from costumes to decorations, we wanted to make sure you knew about a recall involving LED Gel Clings that were sold by Target. They're pretty cool, pull them off, stick them on your window, and press to turn them on. The problem is that the gel clings can separate, exposing the inner decal and the battery posing a choking and button battery ingestion hazard for children.

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, there were six different Halloween LED Gel Clings sold in Target Stores from August to September of this year included in this recall. If you purchased any of these, immediately remove them and return for a full refund. If you have any additional questions, contact Target a 800-440-0680.

Have a safe and happy Halloween.
