A brand-new mixed-income community has begun accepting lottery applications for new apartments in Kingston, NY.

One of the most anticipated construction projects in Ulster County is nearing completion, and that is great news for anyone looking for a new place to live. Golden Hill, a brand new mixed-income community, is almost complete and is "set to transform the landscape and help meet the growing need for high-quality, inclusive housing in the region," according to the company behind the massive project.
Developers, including the Ulster County Housing Development Corporation and the County of Ulster, describe Golden Hill, located off of Golden Hill Drive in Kingston, as an "exciting new neighborhood" that they say will "transform the landscape and help meet the growing need for high-quality, inclusive housing in the region."

What's Available at Golden Hill in Kingston, NY?
The new community will offer a variety of living options for individuals, families, and seniors, including 164 "thoughtfully designed" one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. If you are lucky enough to secure an apartment at Golden Hill, you will enjoy top-tier amenities, including a welcoming community center, fitness center, health service programs, a playground, open spaces, and direct access to the Empire State Trail.
Golden Hill Lottery is Now Open
According to Pennrose, anyone interested in living at Golden Hill can now submit a lottery application by simply filling out the online application here. If applicants prefer submitting a paper application, they are expected to be available soon!

Important Lottery Details
Lottery applications must be submitted online or postmarked by 10/7/25 to be entered into the lottery. Only one lottery application should be submitted per household, and once all applications are submitted, the lottery will happen via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, at 10 p.m. Applicants are not required to attend the lottery. Winners will begin the full application and interview process immediately following the lottery.
