Get Sweet Deals on National Donut Day

Now that the Hudson Valley is the hot spot for donuts, this news is that much sweeter.

Apparently Friday, June 7th, is National Donut Day! Just another day to celebrate something completely random, but we're not complaining especially when we get some great deals out of it.

ABC NY7 is reporting that some of our favorite donut chains will be giving away free donuts and other special giveaways.

Dunkin Donuts, which has tons of locations in the Hudson Valley, are giving out free classic donuts with a purchase of any beverage.

There aren't any local Krispy Kreme locations in the H.V, however there is one in Scranton, PA, another in Jersey City and one in Penn Station down in the city. It might be a far drive for a donut, but Krispy Kreme has a goal of giving away 1 million free donuts. If they reach that goal they will release a new flavor.

Everyone's favorite, Entenmann's is letting you create your own flavor. The winner will receive $5,000 and a year supply of donuts.
