Get Lost For a Great Cause in Fishkill, New York
A Hudson Valley farm is buzzing with excitement surrounding their 2023 corn maze.
Corn Maze Season Has Begun in The Hudson Valley
For the last few weeks, we've seen some of the larger orchards around the region unveil their impressive corn maze designs for the 2023 season. There's a WPDH logo at Barton Orchards, I Love NY at Kelder's Farm in Kerhonkson and there are 2 Reba McEntire designs floating around the state (seriously!).
Another popular Dutchess County Farm is getting in on the fun and it's all for a great cause.
Fishkill Farms Buzzing With Corn Maze Excitement
This year's corn maze design at the uber-popular Fishkill Farms is sweet as honey! The 1-acre maze is designed as a bee and what looks like honeycombs surrounding it.
Since the farm opened up for its apple and pumpkin picking earlier this month, they have donated the proceeds from the corn maze to 3 different organizations: Planet Bee, Happy Life Animal Rescue, and Sparrows Nest. A $5 donation gets you into the maze for all the fun.
Fishkill Farm's writes:
The maze is open from 11 am-5 pm. At least one pick-your-own reservation is required to access the maze, as it is located in our orchard. 30% of every $5 ticket goes to a different local organization each week.
Here's the lineup of the organizations that will be honored and collecting donations at the Fishkill Farm's corn maze for the rest of the harvest season:
September 30th: The Cary Institute in Millbrook, NY
October 7th: Sun River Health Foundation in Hudson, NY
October 14th: RISE Syracuse, NY
October 21st: The Xerces Society
October 28th: Hudson Valley Honor Flight
