The Hudson Valley has become a mecca for beer lovers far and wide. The field just got a little more crowded as Gardiner Brewing Company has opened their new Taproom at Wright Farm in Gardiner.

According to their Facebook page, things are off to a great start. Their grand opening happened the weekend of September 9th and just this past weekend had to call in some backups from another local brewery after beer suppliers were running low.

Hudson Valley One reports the new business is the brainchild of Colin, Samantha and MacKenzie Boylan who's family has run the aforementioned farm since 1904. Colin has been brewing beer for around six years and believes in using only locally sourced ingredients.

The taproom sits in an old renovated barn and includes bar seating for a dozen and tables throughout the rest of the room. They are open Saturday and Sundays from 3-7 PM and will feature beers produced on the farm as supplies allow. Should there be shortages, they're not afraid to bring in beer and cider from other local breweries as Arrowood Farms helped out this weekend.
