
Free Showing of ‘1917’ for Veterans in Orange County
Veterans in Orange County will be treated to a free showing of an Oscar-nominated film in February.
In a press release, it was announced that Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus and Veterans Service Agency Director Christian Farrell teamed up to provide a showing of "1917" on Tuesday, February 4th.
The film will be shown at 12:15 PM and 3:30 PM at the Flagship Premium Cinemas in Monroe. Veterans will be treated to a free showing of the "1917" which follows 2 British soldiers, played by Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch, who are on a dangerous mission during World War I.
Executive Steven M Neuhaus said in a statement "We are all grateful for their services and sacrifices and this is just one small way to say thank you. I look forward to enjoying this critically-acclaimed movie with them.”
