Free Fishing This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

Happy weekend, Hudson Valley! If you're into the outdoors and fishing, then this weekend will probably be busy for you.

According to the Department of Environmental Conservation, this weekend (June 29th and June 30th) is Free Fishing Weekend across New York State.

The free Fishing weekend allows New York state residents to fish without a license at over 7,000 lakes and ponds throughout New York. Following this weekend there will be two more Free Fishing weekends on the weekend of September 28 and November 11.

There is a full list on the DEC website for the designated free fishing spots around New York with a few in and around the Hudson Valley.
