I don't know how I would make it without my food processor. I use it to obviously chop vegetables and grate cheese, but I also use it to make cookie, pie, and bread doughs. I recently started using it to make some of my families favorite dips for the holidays. As you can see, I rely on it quite a bit and I know I'm not alone.

That's why this caught my attention immediately today. According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, Cuisinart is recalling some of it's food processors because, over time, the riveted blade in the machine can crack, causing metal pieces of the blade to break off and mix in with your food. Here's the impacted model numbers. As of this writing, Cuisinart has received 69 complaints and 30 reports of mouth lacerations and tooth injuries.
