Five Cities in Five Days: Day One

What a great way to start off our week long journey.

We kicked off a week long tour of the best Hudson Valley breakfast spots with a bang today at Big E's Deli in Cottekill. Big E's Deli was nominated so many times and after spending the morning there, we now see why.

We got to talk to Eric who opened up Big E's Deli about six months ago after running (and still does) a successful catering business for many years and being told that he needs to make his food available to people on an everyday basis.

One of the things that we love about doing stuff like this throughout a year is the vibes we get to enjoy at each of our stops and the vibe at Big E's was unreal. If you have ever watched the TV show "Cheers", think that vibe but with great food.

We got to meet so many nice people from police officers, local politicians to a man named "Hoppy Quick". Hoppy is a chainsaw wood carver and makes some of the coolest wood carvings we have ever seen. These are pumpkins made out of wood......

We got to try out a bunch of different things while we were there but the one thing you have to try at Big E's is the wings. They were some of the best I have ever had. Make sure you try the Big E's hot sauce!!!
