Firehouse Fun this Month

Cronomer Valley Fire Department is inviting you to join the Ladies Auxiliary for a Tricky tray event on October 13th. The Doors open a 4pm and calling begins at 6pm. The fee is $5 person/child, only babies in carriages are excluded from fee. That fee includes a sheet of tickets and free parking. Additional tickets are $20 for five sheets of tickets and $5 for each additional sheet. Each admission ticket is eligible for door prizes. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Each basket will total at least twenty dollars and include new items. The event will be held at the firehouse at 296 North Plank Road in Newburgh.

Rhinebeck Fire Department will hold an Open House on October 28th. Stop out between 11am and 4pm for the festivities. This event will also be a recruitment drive. This is a great day to find out more if you are interested in becoming a member of the fire department in Rhinebeck. Plus the will be live music all day. There are things for kids to do, there will be food available for purchase plus auction items from local area business that you will want to bid on to help the Rhinebeck fire team. This will also be a great place to learn about fire prevention.
