Another Big Event Returning For 2024 TO Middletown, New York

Like most HudosnVallye race fams I am trying to keep up on all the news about what is going on for 2024 at the Orange County Fair Speedway (OCFS). Over the past few weeks, there have been some racing events added to the calendar and I want to be sure to share the information with the Hudson Valley.

If you hadn't heard, earlier this year the Orange County Fair Speedway announced that they would not be holding a regular race season. They promised that there would be events at the speedway and some would be racing. It looks like they are coming through with that promise plus some other crowd favorite events.

The 2024 Eve of Destruction at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown

Today the OCFS announced that fans can expect one of their favorite events to return to the 105-year-old track in 2024. The Eve of Destruction is officially on the board for this year. The date is set for Saturday, September 21st, 2024.

OCFS has promised to keep updates about the Eve of Destruction and how to get tickets posted on the Orange County Fair Speedway Facebook page. The post today was really about t saving the date on your calendar. Slowly the summer calendar at OCFS is filling up.

The Big Series Coming to the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York

A few weeks ago OCFS announced that there would be a 3 race series at the track this summer and since that announcement, they have been adding information about t sponsors and things racegoers can look forward to on the three nights of racing.

The First racing event in the series is on the calendar for June 9th, 2024. It is the Doug Dulgarian's Nostalgia Night. Festivities start at 3 PM and racing is at 6 PM. The second race in The Big Series will be held on August 4th, 2024. That will also be Joey Falanga Memorial Night

The third race in The Big Series will be held Septemeber 9th, 2024. That night will be Henry Sharp Memorial Night plus Champions Night and Full Fender Nostalgia Night. As the series gets closer you can expect more info to be shared.
