Dutchess County Man Found With Child Porn, Police Say
A Dutchess County man is accused of owning child porn.
On Monday, New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Kevin M. Werner, 60, of Poughkeepsie on three counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
An investigation by the Rhinebeck Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Troop K Computer Crimes Unit and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office determined Werner possessed multiple images containing what he knew or believed to be child pornography, police say.
Werner was arraigned before the town of Milan Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secure bond. Werner is next scheduled to appear before the town of Poughkeepsie Court on March 13.
