The incident took place last weekend on the Great Sacandaga Lake near Albany.

According to WTEN, the Department of Environmental Conservation is currently investigating an alleged act of animal cruelty that happened when two people allegedly ran down a group of ducklings.

DEC investigators told WTEN that they now have video surveillance footage from a marina on the Great Sacandaga Lake that shows two jet skis coming in to get gas around the time one man claims he saw two young men on jet skis start to circle a group of ducklings and intentionally run them over.

Bob Campbell who owns Edinburg Marina on the lake said that, “They came in at 10:55 and they’re leaving at 11:01", which is around the time the incident was reported and in the video you can see the pair head out towards the direction of where the incident took place.

The DEC is still continuing to investigate this alleged incident and they are asking anyone that might have any information on this to contact them at (518)-897-1300.
