We will dry things out for the Hudson Valley, but it will be colder as high pressure builds in from eastern Canada.  Wednesday will be mostly sunny but temps will just about reach 50, but there will be a good northwest wind which will make it feel colder.  Night time temps will be down in the mid 30’s.  This particular weather pattern stays with us right on through Friday.

For the weekend, rain and wet snow is in the forecast.  Doesn’t look like much of snow event at all, with it being too warm to be anything other than rain.  Of course, the higher hill towns, that’s a different story.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph.

Wednesday Night:  Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Thursday:  Sunny, with a high near 47. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Thursday Night:  Mostly clear, with a low around 31.

Friday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.

Saturday:  A chance of rain and snow before 8am, then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 46.
