Don't Miss This Free Fishing Event in Dutchess County

It's sad to say, but the summer is coming to an end.

If you're looking for something fun and affordable to do with the family, the Department of Environmental Conservation has the event for you. According to the DEC, there will be a free fishing event this Wednesday in the Hudson Valley.

If you're worried because you don't have a permit or poles don't worry. The DEC has you covered.

The free family fishing event will be at Quiet Cove Riverfront Park in Poughkeepsie. A fishing license is not required for the event and fishing poles, as well as bait, will be provided for free.
